There is no sugar-coating it: there are some bloody bleak global developments happening day by day at the moment. But for the 23rd edition of Honey Drops, here are some pics from Climate Action Week Sydney.
They show why events like this are so important in bringing the people together who have so much energy and the many insights required to build the collaborative advantages we need.

This chart indicates the increased urgency we are facing, due to the triggers of negative tipping points at a lower global average temperature than previously modelled.

This is just the first bit in a long line of positive tipping points though, showing the adoption of Electric Vehicles (EVs) as proportion of new car sales in Norway from a standing start in 2010.
Global growth of EV fleets has followed a similar trajectory.
That black line is the use of coal, falling off a cliff to zero, with the final coal-powered power plant’s closure last year 142 years after the first one opened, as discussed in the fourth edition of Honey Drops, ‘New Standards, But We’ve Been Here Before’.
Solar panel prices are plummeting.
The network effect is in full effect, the classic adoption curve and permission structures for behavioural change.
If anyone asks you why the world would transition to Renewables when they are more expensive than fossil fuels…
